How verification works
Every job on PJP passes two checks by the PJP team before you can see it: one for the organisation and one for the job itself. Nothing is published automatically.
Verified organisation
This badge means a person on the PJP team has reviewed the organisation and approved it. Before approving, we:
- review the organisation profile it submitted: who it is, what it does and where it works;
- check that it is a real organisation that hires for political or campaign work;
- confirm we can reach the person responsible for hiring.
The date next to the badge is when the organisation was verified. If we later receive a credible report about an organisation, we review it and can remove the badge, which takes all its jobs off PJP.
Verified job
This badge means the PJP team reviewed this job before publishing it. Only verified organisations can have a job published. We check that the job:
- is a real opening at that organisation;
- clearly states the pay, location, duration, start date and hiring process;
- does not ask candidates for any money.
If an employer later changes important details, such as the pay, location, dates, requirements or hiring process, the job comes off PJP until we check it again. Jobs disappear automatically after their application deadline.
What verification does not promise
- It does not mean PJP supports any party, candidate or political view.
- It does not guarantee you will be hired, or how an employer will treat you.
- It is a check at the time of review, not a permanent guarantee. Always use your own judgement.
Your safety
Employers’ phone numbers and emails are never shown publicly. Your contact details and CV are shared only with organisations you apply to.
PJP never charges candidates. No genuine employer on PJP will ask you for money. Report any fee request.
If anything about a job or organisation seems wrong, report it to PJP. We review every report.
